“That… that was your bankai…?” Hitsugaya asked, shocked. Hitsugaya swore no bankai could generate that kind of level of reiatsu, of course, Yamamoto Taicho was an exception, but Hitsugaya never really saw his bankai, so he didn’t really know.

“Yup, yup! Hitsugaya Taicho, would you like to come in for some tea and candy?” Urahara smiled

Hitsugaya’s eyebrow twitched. “NO, GOD DAMN IT!!! I DO NOT WANT ANY CANDY! I’M NOT A KID ANYMORE, FOR GOD’S SAKE! SO SHUT YOU AND UKITAKE’S TRAP!”

“Ah? Ukitake Taicho gives you candy? How nice!” Urahara exclaimed.

“YES, ALRIGHT?!” Hitsugaya yelled, annoyed. “BUT I DON’T LIKE IT!”

“Aw… you sound like a three year old child, right now, you know,” Urahara took out his fan and began fanning himself. “Ah~… such a warm night…”

“Urahara, did you even listening to me…?” Hitsugaya asked, getting more irritated by the second.

“Oh? Did you say something?” Urahara smiled like an idiot.

That was it.

Hitsugaya grabbed Urahara’s collar. “URAHARA KISUKE, SHUT UP AND LITSEN TO ME, WILL YOU?!”

“Ah hah~… ah hah~… yes…” (Urahara)

“HOW WAS THAT YOUR BANKAI?!” Hitsugaya screamed before he let go.

“Well, my bankai releases my reiatsu in a beam like kind of form, you see. Half a second after I released my bankai, he created a portal and disappeared into Hueco Mundo,” Urahara explained.

“A… amazing… so… so that beam was your reiatsu?” Hitsugaya asked.

“Yup!” Urahara smiled with glee.

“Oh. Okay. Um, I’ll be taking my leave now. Thank you, Urahara,” Hitsugaya bowed, then flash-stepped to Inoue’s apartment.

After he got there

“Hey, Taicho!” a flustered and untidy Matsumoto greeted after opening the door.

“Hn. Where’s Hinamori? I need to speak to her,” Hitsugaya stepped into the apartment.

“HINAMORI!” (Hitsugaya)

No answer.

“Um, about Hinamori-kun…” (Matsumoto)

“Yea?” (Hitsugaya)

“She’s gone.” (Matsumoto)
